Yes! Exactly!!! I have known it as "Our Saviour's Church", but I googled and that's it in German, congratulations! Have you ever visited it? It is beautiful and very special due to its twisted spire... :) Ready for the new challenge? ;)
Yes, I visited it in '99. I knew immediately it was in Copenhagen, although I have to admit I had to use google to come up with the name. And yes, I'm ready for the next challege.
Well I must confess I also googled it for the English name... :D Otherwise, I took this photo in October, 2008, but we very lucky, because the weather was very friendly... However, we didn't go to Christiania, because it seemed to be a little bit odd to us, we had to realise we are rather conservative... :)
After a while you learn the subtle difference between
holding a hand and chaining a soul, And you learn that love doesn't mean learning and company doesn mean security, And you begin to learn that kisses aren't contracts and presents aren't promises, And you begin to accept your defeat with your head up and you eyes open, with the grace of an adult, not the grief of a child, And you learn to build all you roads on today
because tomorrow ground is too uncertain for plans. After a while you learn that even sunshine burns if you get too much. So you plant your own garden and decorate your own soul, instead of waiting for someone else to bring you flowers. And you learn that you really can endure... That you really are strong, And you really do have worth.

I believe it's in Copenhagen. Isn't it the Vor Frelsers Kirke?

ReplyDeleteOMG and from the States! I am sure, as for me, I would never be able to recognise anything from the US. :(
